Welcome to visit this web
site of American fictions. It does not intend to be
all-inclusive, but is a mere introduction to 12 famous American
novelists over three periods from early 19th century through 1970s,
including historical background, brief biography of each
writer, list of works, synopsis of masterpieces.
All we hope to
accomplish is to help Chinese students of English to acquire some
knowledge of American novels, in a short but great history of
literature. For those who take a genuine interest in American
novels, these pages may serve as brief introduction to further
study.
